April 23 - 25 conference titled Healing Our Religious Wounds. This event demonstrates the Society's

NEWS FROM TSA PRESIDENT BETTY BLAND
Difficult financial times have
forced us to make some difficult decisions. Consequently, the Theosophical Society national center staff has been
restructured and downsized. As a result, two employees are no longer on staff: Ruthann Fowler, program coordinator; and Beverly Porzelt, TPH customer service. This was difficult for all of us
but necessary for the long range management of our resources.
We are very
grateful for their service and they will be missed. Ruthann added sparkle to
our environment and served the society for over 20 years. Beverly was a dedicated and efficient
worker. We send them off with best wishes for the future. Their duties have
been redistributed among our other staff members, so please be understanding as
we adjust to the increased workload.
Thieves broke into the maintenance garage on the
night of Feb 1st. Items stolen included two power generators, a power
washer, multiple sets of sockets, wrenches, various other tools, and the blue
truck. The truck was found abandoned a few miles away, but all the tools and
equipment are gone. With all the financial problems the Society is
facing, this theft could not have come at a worse time. We would appreciate any donations to help us replace this equipment.
